Tampa Habitat for Humanity

Tampa Bay
In our own lives, each of us was
touched by someone --
other than
our parents -- who introduced us to
new worlds, and brought a
little
magic into our lives. As a Big Brother
or Big Sister, you can do that
too:
celebrate the joy of everyday
moments, and bring magic into a
child's
life -- moments where you get
back as much as you give, and know
you enrich
a life just by being there.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is about
Little
Moments, Big Magic.

More Info

For almost 50 years, United Cerebral
Palsy of Tampa Bay has been a
leading non-profit organization in
the region. Over the years
we've
expanded our programs to help so
many people with so many
disabilities
that we've decided that we needed to
change our name
to better reflect the
breadth of services.
That's why
United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay
is now
Advance Ability Solutions.
Creating solutions for life' is more
than just
a slogan. We've helped
people
with more than 180 different
types of disabilities. We currently
lend a
helping hand to over
5,000
individuals annually in the six county
Tampa Bay region by providing
services in
the home, on the job
site, in community-based child care
centers and at the USF campus.

People Tech
There comes a time in our short
existence that we should
decide to
either become a part of a solution to
assist people to progress,
or to do
nothing and even hinder this
progression. Unfortunately, there is a
'Digital Divide', between those that
can afford to buy 'knowledge tools'
and
those that cannot. We have put
together a non-profit corporation,
recognized
by the IRS under code 501
(c)(3), called Peopletech.
